Pearson Scheduled Downtimes

Pearson informed us of some upcoming scheduled downtimes that may disrupt assignments and tests in the Pearson online instance. ALL MyLab, MyLabsPlus, Mastering, Modified Mastering, Learning Studio, Revel, eText, Learning Applications, Pearson Writer, Pearson Reader, Statcrunch, Coachmarks, Feedback, Registrar Reports, and Lever courses will be impacted.

Saturday, October 26

Start: Saturday, October 26, 2019, 1:00 a.m. ET

End: Saturday, October 26, 2019, 9:00 a.m. ET

November 23, and December 26

Times to be determined

During this time, Instructors and Studentswill not be able to perform any of the following actions:

  • Sign in or access your courses.
  • Create or copy courses.
  • Sync grades with your learning management system (LMS).

Studentswill not be able to purchase, redeem access codes for, register for, or enroll in courses, nor will instructors be able to do so on their behalf. If your course is not integrated with Brightspace, and you try to access your courses during the maintenance window, you will see a splash page explaining that we are conducting maintenance. If the course is integrated with Brightspace, you will most likely see an error to the effect that the course cannot be found.

Pearson will post in-product messages 72 hours prior to the October 26th event. However, if you’ve integrated with Brightspace, students will not see these alerts, and we ask you to please relay this message to them.
