Combine CSV Files with Windows 10 PowerShell

print
Combine all your CSV files that have the same header row into one file using Windows 10 Powershell.

Put all the csv files to combine into the same folder.  While in the folder type the word “powershell” into the address bar.  Paste the following code into the powershell window that pops up and hit enter.  Remove the ‘-append’ option from the code to replace the file each time you execute the script.  Otherwise it will append all the csvs in that folder to the end of the file.  See the video below for a demo (the video has no sound).

Get-ChildItem -Filter *.csv | Select-Object -ExpandProperty FullName | Import-Csv | Export-Csv .\combinedcsvs.csv -NoTypeInformation -Append
