MERGE REQUESTS SUBMITTED AFTER NOON/12:00PM EST THE FRIDAY BEFORE CLASSES WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
As of August 2021, the criteria for merging are:
- Merged sections must ALL be taught at the same time or be asynchronous
- Merged sections must be of the same type: Face to Face or Virtual
- Merged sections must be taught by the same instructor
The exceptions to these rules are Science Labs, Nursing Courses, Cross Listed courses meeting at the same time, and courses taught in Distance Education Classrooms.
All Merge Requests will be completed by 5pm the Friday prior to the start of classes. This was standard protocol before the pandemic, and given the enrollment issues that have been impacting Fall courses, this is more important than ever.
If you want to work on your course materials, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org and request a Sandbox/Master Course shell to work in.
You will receive an email once the merge is completed.
