The Equity Impact Scholarship supports this Value.
To qualify for consideration for the Equity Impact Scholarship, a student must meet the following criteria:
1. Scholarship application on file with the Pellissippi State Foundation
2. GPA 2.0 or above
3. Enrolled in at least 6 hours
4. Unmet Need as defined by FAFSA or demonstrated financial need by a letter from the student with supporting documentation, prior free/reduced lunch status may be considered
5. Preference to African American/Black students
The amount of scholarship and number of awards will be decided upon annually by the Foundation Executive Director and the Scholarship Committee based upon fund availability. The normal award range will be $350-$500 in consideration of the number of hours enrolled. The scholarship committee will have the ability to increase or decrease this amount based upon individual student need.
