Marilyn Palatinus Scholarship

Monday’s Scholarship of the Week is the Marilyn Palatinus Scholarship. Marilyn served as Coordinator of Foreign Languages at Pellissippi State and recently retired after 22 years at the college.

To be considered for this scholarship, a student must be full-time with a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need and also have a written recommendation from the student’s high school guidance counselor or college faculty advisor, teacher or other recognized professional person. Preference will be given to an Arts and Sciences or Liberal Arts major. One $350 scholarship is awarded to a Pellissippi State student each year.

Since its inception, the Marilyn Palatinus Scholarship has been awarded to 28 students for a total of $9,800.
