Who gets an account?

All students, faculty, staff, and authorized guests at Pellissippi State are provided with an account including a username and password. This account provides secure access to most of our online services,including myPellissippi, Brightspace (D2L), Office 365, classroom and lab computers, wireless access, printing, and more.

How are accounts created?

New employees will have their account created after the hiring process is complete. New students have an account created during the application process. Both students and employees are added to the online directory automatically through regularly scheduled updates. If you have questions about your college account, call the HelpDesk.

What about access to confidential information?

Your account also can provide access to other resources. For employees who require access to restricted or confidential information or specialized tools (such as Banner, Argos, Automic (UC4), Workflow, DegreeWorks, Spreadsheet Budgeting, or E-print), the APS security request form must be completed by the employee supervisor and approved by the data owner before access is provided. This form can be found in myPellissippi, on the Employee page, under the College Forms section. Depending on the information location, there may be a separate account provided for access.
