Technology Training

Staff from Information Services provide regularly scheduled training as well as on-demand training for existing and newly implemented technologies on campus.

Regularly scheduled training covers different parts of Office 365, Brightspace/D2L, instructional technologies and more.

We also support the Microsoft certification opportunity provided by the IT Academy.

Some examples of past training include:

  • MS Outlook 2016 Certification Training and MS PowerPoint 2016 Certification Training
Interested in obtaining your Microsoft Outlook certification? Then, join us in this three part session where we will walk through the training you need before taking the exam.
  • The Practical Uses of Microsoft OneNote
OneNote 2016 is a digital notebook that provides a single place for all of your notes and information – everything you need to remember and manage in your life at home, at work, or at school. In OneNote, your notebooks never run out of paper. They are easy to reorganize, print, and share, and you can search all your notes quickly so you can find notes even if you forget where you put them. Best of all, you can store your notebooks online and get to them using any of your devices.
  • Brightspace/D2L Basics (Online Courses system) for Students
