How to Request a Virtual Desktop Account

The college supports a Citrix environment for securely connecting to protected data, resources and software. To obtain access to our virtual desktop environment, please use the following process:

Process for obtaining access to virtual desktop:

  1. Read Remote Access Policy 08:13:10
  2. Complete the Virtual Desktop Request and Compliance Agreement Form
  3. An approval workflow will send your request to your manager and continue up until approved by a director, dean, assistant vice-president, VP, or the President.
  4. When all approvals have been created, an email to the HelpDesk will be generated requesting access is granted.
  5. NTS will contact the manager to determine what virtual access needs best fit and provide any additional hardware or software.
  6. The HelpDesk will email instructions explaining how to connect to https://virtual.pstcc.edu.
