Pellissippi State Community College invites area home-schooled students to an open house from 5:30-7:30 p.m., April 6 at the Hardin Valley Campus, 10915 Hardin Valley Road. Learn more about transfer degree programs and dual enrollment, which allows students to earn high school and college-level credit at the same time. Students who attend the open house can enter to win a $250 scholarship provided by the Pellissippi State Foundation. Although the open house is free, please RSVP at www.pstcc.edu/admissions/hsrsvp/. Pellissippi State Announcements: Students invited to ‘FAFSA Fright Night’ at Strawberry Plains Campus

Pellissippi State Community College invites current and prospective students and their families to attend FAFSA Fright Night, 5-8 p.m. Oct. 27, at the college’s Strawberry Plains Campus, 7201 Strawberry Plains Pike. The event will offer help to students who are filling out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, application to Pellissippi State and/or Tennessee Promise paperwork. The FAFSA opened early this year, and students are encouraged to complete it as soon as possible. FAFSA Fright Night also will include tours of the Nursing Center and Megalab, a costume contest and a drawing for a scholarship from the Pellissippi State Foundation. Pellissippi State Announcements: Prospective students invited to Open House

 

Pellissippi State Community College will host a free open house for anyone interested in attending college from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18. The open house will be held in the Goins Administration Building at the Hardin Valley Campus, 10915 Hardin Valley Road. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak to faculty, staff and students from all of Pellissippi State’s academic programs and listen to presentations on financial aid and career versus transfer pathways. High school seniors who attend will be placed in a drawing for two $250 scholarships awarded by the Pellissippi State Foundation. Although the event is free, attendees are encouraged to RSVP at www.pstcc.edu/prsvp.
