Dr.Shaquille Marsh is an Instructor of Communication Studies and has been a faculty member at Pellissippi State since August 2016. He is the founder and coach of the Pellissippi State Speech and Debate Team, which started January 2017. The team has won six championships and over 30 individual speaker awards. He also welcomes new students to Pellissippi as a New Student Orientation (NSO) faculty leader.
Dr. Marsh was awarded the first ever Roger Crowe Excellence in Teaching award during the 2017-2018 academic year. The National Society of Leadership and Success chapter at Pellissippi State awarded him with the Excellence in Teaching Award in December 2017. During the 2018-2019 academic year, he was awarded the Outstanding Full Time Faculty member of the year. The Tennessee Communication Association named him the recipient of the 2019 Horizon award, which is given to an emerging leader within the organization. He is committed to student success and continues to strive to strengthen his teaching and professional skills.
