Accessibility Basics training

Who: All faculty and staff are welcome

When: Tuesday, February 4th, 9:30am to 10:30am (This session will be offered again on March 10th)

Description: Learn the who, what, and why on the accessibility of information, materials, and technology. This is not a how-to session. It is a beginning session explaining what digital accessibility is and who it benefits.

This is one of four trainings that cover the basics of accessible information, materials and technology (AIMT).  Each session is a stand-alone training, but each one also builds on the previous sessions. Attend all four sessions and complete the assessments to obtain an AIMT Trained Certificate from PACE.The four sessions in the AIMT Training series are:

  • Accessibility Basics training
  • Universal Design for Learning Workshop
  • Making Your Content in D2L Brightspace accessible
  • Document (Word, PDF, Web) Accessibility

Check the PACE Events calendar and sign up for all 4. Most sessions are held at least twice during the semester.
