A New Free Tool to Enhance Zoom and Teams
September 15 @ 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm EDT
Zoom and Teams are great tools, and it’s obvious we will use them in some form going forward. After 18 months of using them to teach, you may feel comfortable with your ability to use them.
But you may also still feel a little fumbly with things like screen sharing. You may still be trying to figure out virtual backgrounds, or suffering from bad backgrounds with that flickering halo effect that is so distracting. You may find yourself talking for way too long while a boring text-based PowerPoint slide fills the screen and your students drift off.
Perhaps you have watched newscasters on television and the way they can put graphics on screen along with themselves to make their audience interactions more engaging.
In this session, Donn King will share a new tool that is free to educators that you can use in the same way those broadcasters do without investing in expensive studio equipment. In fact, for educators this tool is free for the next year!
If you use Microsoft Teams or any other virtual solution that doesn’t really allow the use of green screens (and if you don’t know about those, we will show you), this tool will let you bring the same advantage Zoom has into those “other” virtual solutions.
