Teaching Full Circle QEP Information Sessions
September 2 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT
The ultimate goal of Pellissippi State’s brand new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), Teaching Full CIRCLE: Creating Inclusive and Responsive Classrooms for Learning Equity, is to narrow equity gaps in student course success. Our plan to achieve this goal calls for the development and delivery of Teaching Full Circle, a two-semester long faculty learning community-based professional development program focused on inclusive and culturally responsive teaching strategies for faculty who teach certain identified gateway courses.
For the next four weeks, QEP Director Oakley Atterson will be hosting a weekly information session about Teaching Full Circle. After providing an overview of what it is, how it came to be, and where it is heading, Oakley will open the floor for you to ask any question at all you have about this new QEP.
*If you attend one of these sessions, your name will be put the hat for Teaching Full Circle swag – t-shirts, coffee mugs, padfolios, and more!
